Balloon animalsPart of what makes us who we are as a church is the desire to be connected and part of the community outside of the space we meet weekly. As a church we encourage people to be actively involved in the community and take part in the many festivals in and around Dover.

Dover Days will be celebrated this Saturday (May 6, 2017). The event is the largest in Kent County and draws more than 50,000 people a year. A blend of traditions and modern attractions celebrate First State history. And this year, we are celebrating Dover’s 300th anniversary!

In addition to hanging out and participating in Dover Days events individually, Deep Water will have an information booth on Saturday, (May 6) where we give out information about who we are as we make balloon animals for kids. To make it a success, we need volunteers on Saturday.
We’ll have a brief “Clown College” the next two Sundays to teach some simple balloon animals.
To keep up to date with all the Dover Days info, like them on Facebook here or follow one or both of the two Facebook events here and here.
