What’s the 5th Sunday thing?
Community is a big part of who we are at Deep Water. We serve the community––and we’re in community together as we grow in our faith. Every time a month has 5 Sundays instead of the typical 4, we have a potluck fellowship meal and call it “5th Sunday Fellowship.”

Jesus said “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:19-20, NLT).”

Baptism is a step of obedience where we identify with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.

We’re planning a baptism this Sunday (May 17) during the 10:00 am worship gathering. If you’re interested in being baptized, contact us!

We’re excited to once again partner with the Town of Wyoming to host a fun-filled Egg Hunt for kids at Wyoming Park—happening this Saturday! It’s always a great time for families in our community.

The egg hunt will start promptly at 11:00 AM, so it’s best to arrive by 10:30 to be ready. If you’d like to help serve, please plan to arrive by 9:30 AM.

You can be part of it by bringing friends with kids or by jumping in to help—we’d love to have you involved!

Once again, we’re excited to partner with the Town of Wyoming to host a fun-filled Egg Hunt for kids at Wyoming Park! It’s always a great time for families in our community.

You can join in by bringing friends with kids or by volunteering to help out—we’d love to have you be part of it!

We still have plenty of plastic eggs from previous years, but we do need individually wrapped candy that will fit inside the eggs. If you’d like to help, feel free to start dropping off candy this Sunday or anytime during the week.

Men’s Workday – August 30
Join us on Saturday, August 30 as we work together on a few small projects around the building. Whether you can paint, clean, carry, or want to pick up a new skill, there’s a place for you to help. Let’s roll up our sleeves and take care of the space God has entrusted to us!

Men’s Conference – October 18, 2025
Mark your calendar for the Men’s Conference in Baltimore on Saturday, October 18, 2025. It’s a powerful day of teaching, encouragement, and connection with other men who want to grow in their faith. More details will be coming soon—don’t miss it!

Join us for National Night Out with the Wyoming Police Department on Tuesday, August 19 from 6–8 PM at Wyoming Park—just a few blocks from our church building! Wyoming celebrates a little later than most towns because of the Peach Festival, and it’s always a fun evening for families and friends. If you have kids, bring them along and invite a neighbor to join you.

We’ll be helping with face painting and balloon animals, and we’d love for you to be part of the fun! We’ll teach you everything you need to know. We’ll show you some simple, crowd-pleasing balloon creations on the spot (and a few advanced ones if you’re feeling adventurous).

The Wyoming Peach Festival is this Saturday, August 2—right outside our front doors!

This is a fantastic chance to connect with our community, meet new folks, and invite them to check out Deep Water in a relaxed, fun environment. Bring a friend and enjoy the day together!

Join us for a free Community BBQ on Wednesday, August 13 at 6:00 pm right here at Deep Water Church! We’re firing up the grill and inviting our neighbors to come enjoy a great meal, meet new people, and have some fun together.

This is a chance for us to get to know each other—no strings attached, just good food and good company. And starting in September, we’ll be hosting a free community meal every month, so come get a taste of what’s to come! For more information, click here.

National Night Out with the Wyoming Police Department (Wyoming does it a little later than some others due to the Peach Festival.) is coming up on Tuesday, August 19 from 6 – 8 pm. If you have kids, it’s a fun evening at Wyoming Park (a few blocks away from our building). Come out and bring a friend!

If you want to help with face painting and balloon animals, we will teach you how and give you some time to practice on Sunday, August 10 after our 10:00 am worship gathering. If you can’t make it to the practice and want to help, we will gladly teach you a few popular yet simple balloon items that can be learned easily–and we have some more complex things for those who want to learn..
