]]> By: Mike https://deepwater.church/god-myths-2/#comment-722 Wed, 24 Apr 2013 01:11:43 +0000 http://www.deepwaterchurch.org/?p=876#comment-722 in regards to the story of the ‘rich young ruler’ in Mark 10:17-27, Jesus remarks that “…It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” I have heard it stated that there was a gate in the wall surrounding Jerusalem that was smaller than the others called the ‘eye of the needle gate’. And that if a merchant needed to enter it he had to remove all of his merchandise from his camel and make his camel walk on its knees to enter. But how true is the story of the ‘eye of the needle’ gate?
