Who is the writer, who is the audience and how would the original audience have understood that verse. What was the writer trying to communicate to his audience? Remember, all the Bible is profitable for doctrine and reproof, but the Bible was not written to us, it was preserved for us.
Just reading verses and trying to figure out how to apply them to your life is NOT Bibles study and leads to much error in doctrine.]]></description>
