While none of the Gospels (the books of the Bible that tell us about the life of Jesus) record Jesus gathering school supplies for kids, we do see that his life was marked with love and compassion. We see Jesus serving people throughout his life–and calling us to do the same. Warm sunny days, beach trips and lots of free time–those days are quickly coming to an end for students. In the excitement of back to school preparation, not all kids return to school with the supplies they need. We, as a church, want to help meet the needs of those students.

There are many opportunities to serve people in each of our daily lives. As a church, we want to provide you with another way to serve. Middle school is a crucial time for young teens and we want to help make sure they have the supplies they need to strive toward success. This year, we’re gathering supplies to send to William Henry Middle School.

Here’s a list of what kids are asked to bring:
