On Sunday, May 31, we’ll enjoy a meal and fellowship immediately after our regular worship gathering. There is a signup sheet available on Sundays. Please bring a dish to share if you are able. Not sure what to bring? Contact us to see what might be needed.
What’s the 5th Sunday thing?
Community is a big part of who we are at Deep Water. We serve the community––and we’re in community together as we grow in our faith. Every time a month has 5 Sundays instead of the typical 4, we have a potluck fellowship meal and call it “5th Sunday Fellowship.”
Baptism this Sunday (May 17, 2026)
Jesus said “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:19-20, NLT).”
Baptism is a step of obedience where we identify with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
We’re planning a baptism this Sunday (May 17) during the 10:00 am worship gathering. If you’re interested in being baptized, contact us!
Easter Sunday Gatherings this weekend
SUNRISE CELEBRATION ON EASTER MORNING
Sunday, April 5 at 6:40 am. We will start to gather at 6:20 and have a brief message as the sun rises at 6:40 am.
Location: Port Mahon (1097 Port Mahon Rd., Dover, DE 19901 – by the Delaware Bay out on Port Mahon Road)
Early on Sunday morning, people were surprised at the empty tomb of Jesus. Join us early in the morning for a very informal worship gathering as we celebrate the big plot turn in the story of Jesus–spoiler alert: He is Risen! Note: The address is approximate–keep driving until you see some of us gathering near the first pier. Come early and enjoy this beautiful part of Delaware!
EASTER SUNDAY CELEBRATION

Free Community Dinner – Wednesday, April 8 at 6:00 PM
Join us at Deep Water Church (107 E. Broad St., Wyoming, DE 19934) for a free community dinner and a relaxed evening together. We’ll share a good meal, connect with neighbors, and enjoy simple, meaningful conversation around the table.
During the evening, we’ll also offer a brief, encouraging word about Jesus—just a few minutes of hope and perspective that connects faith with everyday life.
That’s it—no pressure, no expectations, just a welcoming space where friendships can grow and everyone belongs. Bring your family, invite a friend, or come on your own.
We’ll be hosting a free dinner like this every month, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Everyone is welcome—come hungry and join us at the table!
Community Egg Hunt – This Saturday!
We’re excited to once again partner with the Town of Wyoming to host a fun-filled Egg Hunt for kids at Wyoming Park—happening this Saturday! It’s always a great time for families in our community.
The egg hunt will start promptly at 11:00 AM, so it’s best to arrive by 10:30 to be ready. If you’d like to help serve, please plan to arrive by 9:30 AM.
You can be part of it by bringing friends with kids or by jumping in to help—we’d love to have you involved!
