EXPECT
CAN I KEEP MY CHILDREN WITH ME?
The Nursery (0 thru pre-K), Early Childhood and Kids Church (Elementary) areas are great, fun, safe places for children; but we respect your right and judgment as a parent. Feel free to keep your children with you. We even have a ‘cry room’ available for your use.
WHEN TO ARRIVE
The Nursery and Early Childhood area opens 10 minutes before the start of the worship gathering. The children going to Kids Church stay in the regular worship gathering with us for the music and then go to their own area before the sermon.
WHERE TO GO
When you arrive, ask the greeter for help getting to the Nursery and Early Childhood area. Our Elementary children follow their leader after the music in the main gathering. If you arrive early, we’d be happy to introduce you to the teacher. If you want to follow them down the first time and meet the teacher, please feel free to go with them!
SAFETY AND SECURITY
Because we take the safety and well-being of children seriously, all adults who work with children are screened and must pass background checks.
At our Sunday gathering, we provide nursery and early childhood care for children up to Kindergarten. Again, if you would prefer to keep your child with you during the gathering, you are welcome to do so.
In order to help each child grow in an age appropriate space, we group the children in the following ways.
Nursery
(Infant – 2 years old)
Our nursery workers care for, pray over and nurture your child while you enjoy our worship gathering. Your child will enjoy age appropriate toys and interact with children their own age.
Early Childhood
(2 years old – Kindergarten)
While your child is learning to explore the world around them, we encourage them in taking their first steps of faith. Your child will play, build relationships and learn about God’s love for them through age-appropriate activities, stories and crafts.
Kids Church
(Elementary: 1st – 5th grade)
Your child will form friendships each week, grow closer to God and learn to serve others. Our dedicated teachers will use a variety of teaching methods, games and activities to teach your children about God’s love for them and following Jesus.
