Wyoming Easter Egg Hunt 2025

Once again we’re partnering with the town of Wyoming to provide a fun-filled egg hunt for kids at Wyoming Park. Join us to help or bring your friends with kids! Check out the Facebook event here.
We have plenty of eggs from previous years. But we will need individually wrapped candy that will fit in eggs! Feel free to start dropping it off on Sundays or during the week! We need donations soon so the volunteers from the school system can get the eggs stuffed!

EASTER EGG HUNT IN WYOMING
Sunday, April 13 at 2:00 pm
Location: Wyoming Park (322 W. 3rd St, Wyoming, DE 19934)
We work with the Town of Wyoming and the Wyoming Police Department for this event every year. Children 12 and under will be divided by ages. There will be hunts for four age groups: 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Be sure to get there on time and bring a friend! Hunts for all ages will begin at 2:00 pm!
SUNRISE CELEBRATION ON EASTER MORNING
Sunday, April 20 at 6:00 am. We will start to gather at 6:00 and have a brief message as the sun rises at 6:17 am.
Location: Port Mahon (1097 Port Mahon Rd., Dover, DE 19901 – by the Delaware Bay out on Port Mahon Road)
Early on Sunday morning, people were surprised at the empty tomb of Jesus. Join us early in the morning for a very informal worship gathering as we celebrate the big plot turn in the story of Jesus–spoiler alert: He is Risen! Note: The address is approximate–keep driving until you see some of us gathering near the first pier. Come early and enjoy this beautiful part of Delaware!

Benevolence Need for the Food/Toiletry Pantry: Depends
As you may know, we serve the people in the local area around Wyoming and the surrounding area throughout the week. Besides meeting their need for food and other donated items, some individuals often have special needs.
We currently have people who need Depends undergarments and other such items. Many of us may have these items after an illness or when loved ones pass. If you want to give them some new use, bring them to us and we’ll pass them along. So, if you have any, please let me know or bring them on Sunday.
Annual Meeting 2025
We will hold our Annual Business Meeting after the 10:00 am worship gathering this Sunday (March 2). Members and non-members are welcome to attend; but only members can vote on any business.
What makes some people members and some not members? We value everyone’s contributions to the community here at Deep Water and treat everyone with love and respect whether they are a member or not. We offer a membership opportunity for those who want to solidify their commitment and make decisions on the direction of Deep Water –– in other words, to vote on legal matters. It involves a few videos and sitting down with us to explain the commitment. All members must be approved by the current board.

Save the Date: 5th Sunday Potluck on March 30
Community is a big part of who we are at Deep Water. We serve the community––and we’re in community together as we grow in our faith. Every time a month has 5 Sundays instead of the typical 4, we have a potluck fellowship meal and call it “5th Sunday Fellowship.” Save the date, because on Sunday, March 30, we’ll enjoy fellowship and a potluck after our regular worship gathering.
