Advent is a time of waiting, hope, and anticipation. It’s a time of joyful anticipation of the celebration of the coming of Jesus—while waiting and longing for His second coming. While we at Deep Water don’t celebrate with the traditional candles and other elements, we do look forward to the fulfillment of the promise of the coming of Jesus. Join us as we worship Him who came as light for the world!
With all the busy-ness, we’re going to slow down on Sunday mornings and look closely at the Story of Christmas. So, join us each week as we celebrate the coming of Christ and encourage each other in our faith.
The Christmas Schedule will be a little different this year since Christmas and New Year’s Day each fall on a Sunday. While we’d love to gather for worship on Christmas, realistically, most of us have many family obligations and it would end up just being a few of us gathered. So, we will celebrate on Christmas Eve and have no service in the building on Christmas Day.
Here’s the Plan for this Season:
December 4, 11 & 18: Christmas—The Gift Foretold
The story of Christmas from Isaiah
Kids Church and Nursery at each gathering
December 24: Candlelight Christmas Eve Service, 6pm
All of us will worship together No Kids Church or Nursery
December 25: Closed–Enjoy the Day with Family & Friends
January 1: Our Regular 10 am Worship Gathering
