Convoy of Hope 2019

Help us help the Community at a Convoy of Hope event in Dover this summer!

A Convoy of Hope Community Event is a united act of compassion that helps families in need. Local churches, businesses, community service and health organizations partner together to provide guests with groceries, medical and dental screenings, prayer, haircuts, lunch, veteran services, music, a kids’ carnival, children’s shoes, job and career services, community services, family portraits and more—at no charge to guests.

Dover is scheduled to host an event this summer (July 13) and there will be many opportunities to help before the event and on the day of the event.

If you want to be part of the planning for this event, we need help coordinating guest promotions and groceries. Here’s a video giving you an idea of what will be going on:

Dinner and Bible Study starts next week! (January 9)

We want to help you grow in your faith and meet some great people. Join us for a ten week Small Group Dinner and Bible study (starting Wednesday, January 9 to March 13).

We will intensely study Psalm 119 using Right Now Media with Matt Chandler. Check out this preview of what we’ll be studying:

Dinner will be served from 5:30-6:30 pm. Bible Study will begin at 6:30 pm. (You’re welcome to join us at 6:30 if you can’t make it to dinner.) We’re asking for a $2 donation to offset the cost of dinner. Like cooking? If you want to help with making dinner, email or Facebook message John Rundle.

End of Year Giving 2018

We appreciate the generosity of the people who call Deep Water their home–and the people who support our efforts who don’t attend regularly. When you give, you are part of all the things we are doing here in Wyoming, Camden, the greater Dover area, and around the world. (We’re doing some pretty cool missions things in Africa and Asia right now–if you haven’t heard, ask about it sometime!) Thanks for being part of all God is doing through us!

Donations can be made this Sunday in any of the regular four ways people give since it is the last Sunday in December. If you’re traveling, you can always give online or mail in donations. All donations are tax deductible. In order to receive tax credit for 2018, the IRS requires that donations must be received or postmarked by December 31.

Give online here or mail checks to:

Christmas Eve

Join us on Monday, December 24 at 6pm for a Candlelight Christmas Eve Celebration.

We will do our best to make the service ‘Kid-friendly’ since we will have them with us so we can all worship together.

Remember, Christmas is a great time to invite someone to join us. And if, you use social media, share the Facebook event and Instagram post and share on Twitter as you invite your friends!
