Small Groups at Deep Water for the Fall
If you’re interested in joining a group, we’re updating our list right now, so check out the groups here. We have groups that connect throughout the week so we can learn to live out our faith.
Many informal groups exist where people simply get together; we do have several that meet formally. (Of course, our “formal” ones are still very casual–just advertised better!)

Sunday Morning Class
The Bible is a book written by multiple authors over a great span of time. While many of us want to read it, we may not always understand how to interpret it. Join us on Sunday mornings for Knowing Scripture. This class will feature a video and discussion. It shows us that it is the privilege and duty of every believer to diligently study God’s Word. It reminds us that along with this privilege comes the responsibility to interpret the Bible correctly. Interpreting Scripture, like all sciences, is governed by rules. The class lays out the basic guidelines for correctly understanding, interpreting, and applying Scripture. This series is a great study tool for both beginning and long-time Bible readers.
Class will begin on October 7 before the 10am service.

As we have said, Christians often treat the Bible like a software agreement – we just click agree but never read it. One of the best ways to grow spiritually is to study the Bible, but it can be tough to know where to begin and many get discouraged on their own. We want to help you grow in your faith and meet some great people.
Join us for Small Group Dinner and Bible study (it started this week, but you can join at any time) Dinner will be served from 5:30-6:30 pm. Bible Study will begin at 6:30 pm. (You’re welcome to join us at 6:30 if you can’t make it to dinner.) We ask for a $3 donation to offset the cost of dinner. Like cooking?
