A Chance to Serve
We want to make a great first impression on guests and be good neighbors to those who live near us. We have been blessed with a beautiful building; but beautiful buildings need a little help to stay beautiful.
We are putting together a schedule of people to cut the grass here at the church building once a week. (The mower will be here for you to use.) If you have a little time, like to mow and are willing to serve, contact us.
Baptism at the Beach
Baptism is a step of obedience where we identify with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection…and He said “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:19-20, NLT).” So, we do the things He told us to do! If you want to know more of what baptism is all about, check out the podcast where we talked about baptism–or ask Jeff on Sunday!
We’re planning a baptism at the beach on Sunday, July 8. If you’re interested in being baptized, see me, contact us or sign up on Sunday – and it turns into a party as we celebrate the new life Jesus offers us in Him; so even if you’re not being baptized, please try to join us! We’ll have some more party details soon!
Last Youth Group until Fall
This Sunday (June 10) will be the last regularly scheduled youth group. Before we break for summer there will be a Party at the Park at our regularly scheduled time. Meet us at Brecknock Park in Camden. (In case of bad weather, we’ll meet at the church building.)
If you want to keep up with youth events this summer, please connect with the Facebook Group.

Men’s Breakfast this Saturday (June 2)
Most Saturdays, some of the men meet at the church building from 7-8:30 am to talk and become better disciples. We only have two weeks left until we break for the summer; so we’re taking a field trip and hitting the Camden Chic-Fil-A. Hope to see you there!
