Firefly Project 2018 and Code Purple
As many of you know, we work to help the homeless in the greater Dover area and love partnering with other organizations that serve the homeless population. Three years ago, we began to work with the people who put on Firefly. Many of the items left behind after the festival can be useful to the homeless.
To make this work, we need volunteers to help us collect and process materials donated and left behind after Firefly on Monday, June 18. All the things collected go to Code Purple in Kent and Sussex County.

We will be making balloon animals and hosting fun games at the Fifer Festival on Saturday, May 26 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Not sure how to make balloon animals? Don’t worry, we’ll teach you some easy balloon art–and we need some help running Kids Games like Giant Connect Four, Giant Jenga and Spike Ball.
We’re asking people to commit to 2 hour blocks during the day. Contact us or if you want to help but didn’t signup on Sunday, or sign up this Sunday!

Phil Stacey Concert in Newark

American Idol Finalist and Christian Recording Artist, Phil Stacey, is coming to Praise Assembly on Friday, June 1 from 7:00-9:00 pm at
You may have seen Phil on Ellen or the Tonight Show or as a featured artist on tours with Michael W. Smith or Natalie Grant; but one thing is certain, his performances are marked by soulful passion combined with a powerful testimony that demonstrates the faithfulness of God.
There’s no charge for the concert but an offering will be received. Bring some friends for a fun night of good music and an uplifting message!
Doors open at 6:30.

And we need some help setting up and breaking down for the event.
We’ll have sheets to signup to help out on Sunday. We’re asking for help to set-up and break down one hour before and after the event; and we’re asking people to commit to 2 hour blocks during the day. Contact us if you want to help but can’t signup on Sunday.
