Women of Purpose 2018
Women of Purpose is a women’s event coming to Wilmington, Delaware on April 14th.
You can register for the event online, deadline is April 2 (the day after Easter). We would like to have a head count of who is going so we can arrange a carpool for those interested in riding together.
We will post reminders and updates periodically to keep you informed.

Work Day at the Building
We still have a lot of things we’re working to improve on the building. In order to get a jump start on spring and get ready to look our best on Easter, a few of us will be at the building at 9:00 am this Saturday (March 24).
We have some punch-lists with a variety of tasks: picking up leaves, painting, running wires, cleaning, moving items to storage, etc. If you’d like to join us, please do!
If you would like to work on some things during the week instead, let us know!

Easter is the biggest holiday in the Christian calendar. And remember, it’s one of the best times of the year to invite a friend to church! As we prepare for this season, check out the current Easter schedule. (We may add one thing in the near future if things work out.)

Friday, March 30 at 6:30 pm at Orchard Church, 39 N Main St., Magnolia, DE 19962 (on State Street as you enter the town of Magnolia)
Join Deep Water Church and The Cross Church and Orchard Church as we join together to celebrate the day Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins.
Sunrise Service
Sunday, April 1 at 6:20 am (Sunrise is at 6:47 am) at Port Mahon, 1097 Port Mahon Rd., Dover, DE 19901 (by the Delaware Bay out on Port Mahon Road)
Early on Sunday morning, people arrived at the tomb of Jesus and were surprised when they found an empty tomb. Join us early in the morning for a very informal worship gathering as we celebrate this plot turn in the story of Jesus. Note: The address is approximate–keep driving until you see some of us gathering near the pier.

Join us as we celebrate Easter–the biggest holiday and celebration of the Christian Church. Come and celebrate with us as we learn about hope, peace, and a new start in life!
