Church 401 this Sunday (March 4)
Reminder: Dream Team 401 will meet this Sunday, March 4.
In this class, we will help you connect your gifts to a place to help make the vision of Deep Water a reality.
For any of the other three classes (Church 101, Essentials 201 and Discovery 301), you can pick them up in any order. To take Dream Team 401, however, you will need to have taken 301 since it is an interactive discussion using material from 301.
If you want to take 401, contact us this week so we can catch you up to speed!
Deep Water 301 this Sunday (February 25)
We’ll be teaching Discovery 301 after the 10am service this week. Anyone is welcome to join us!
We’re often asked: I missed Church 101, or Essentials 201, should I take Discovery 301?
Answer: If you missed Church 101, you can still take Discovery 301 this week (and 401 the following week).
In Discovery 301, we will discover and explore our personality, gifts, and purpose in life and will see how God combines them for the best fit in ministry.
The classes take roughly an hour, so join us this Sunday, February 25.On March 4 we’ll offer Dream Team 401, where we will help you connect your gifts to a place that will help make the vision of Deep Water a reality.
Growing in Your Faith
This past Sunday during Deep Water 201, I (Jeff) spoke on growing in our faith. During the class, we discussed Right Now and I wanted to remind you that to all who call Deep Water Church home, we are gifting subscriptions to what has been called ‘The Christian Netflix.’
If you want access to 1000s of Christian Bible Studies on topics that interest you, along with kids Resources/Videos, simply let us know. Either contact us or fill out a Connection Card on Sunday and indicate you want access.
Deep Water 201 this Sunday (February 18)
Deep Water offers four classes designed to teach more about our history and values–in other words, why we do what we do–while helping you grow in your faith!
- Church 101: This class is a basic introduction to Deep Water and will help you understand church membership.
- Essentials 201: This class develops the essential habits that every believer needs to become a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
- Discovery 301: This class helps you discover your personality, gifts, and purpose in life, and see how God combines them for the best fit in ministry.
- Dream Team 401: This class helps you connect your gifts to a place to help make the vision a reality.
We offered 101 last week and will offer 201 this Sunday 10 minutes after the regular service. We look forward to seeing you there!
Deep Water 101 this week (February 11)
We’re starting Deep Water 101-401 series this week (February 11). The classes last about an hour and begin about 10 minutes after service ends. While you’re not required to join after taking the classes, they are required for membership. If you’re interested, please contact us or sign up on Sunday so we can plan for enough handouts, etc.
