Bikers for Christ Motorcycle Ministry Bike Blessing 2018
On April 28 at 11:30am, Bikers for Christ will do a short run from the south lot of the Blue Hen Corporate Center (655 S. Bay Rd., Dover, DE 19901) to Tre Sorelle Dolce Ice Cream and Italian Ice (11 S. Railroad Ave., Wyoming, Delaware).
At Tres Sorelle Dolce they will have a time for prayer and “blessing of the bikes”. All are welcome and encouraged to ride–whether riding with a different club, unaffiliated, a follower of Jesus or just wanting to ride!

Give Kids a Smile 2018
Although not a Deep Water Event, we thought this might be of interest to some in the community:
Give Kids a Smile (GKAS) is a national program which began in February (National Children’s Dental Health Month) in 2002. Education, Oral Health Screenings, and comprehensive preventive and restorative treatment programs are held in all 50 states.
Dentists, with the coordinated help of Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Office Staff and Dental Supply Representatives, have treated over 1,300 Delaware children since 2004, providing dental treatment to a vulnerable segment of our population.
There is a local event in Dover on Saturday, February 10 at the office of D. Douglas Ditty (1004 South State Street, Suite 1, Dover, DE 19901). All patients will be seen by appointments only. To schedule an appointment, call 302-368-7634.
Deep Water 101 (February 11)
We’ve rescheduled the Deep Water 101 for February 11.
201, 301 and 401 will meet on the following weeks.The classes last about an hour and begin about 10 minutes after service ends. While you’re not required to join after taking the classes, they are required for membership. If you’re interested, please contact us or sign up on Sunday so we can plan for enough handouts, etc.
What do the classes cover?
Church 101: This class is a basic introduction to Deep Water and will help you understand church membership.
Essentials 201: This class develops the essential habits that every believer needs to become a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
Discovery 301: This class will help you discover your personality, gifts, and purpose in life and to see how God combines them for the best fit in ministry.
Dream Team 401: This class will help you connect your gifts to a place to help make the vision a reality.
No youth group this week (February 4)
In case you didn’t figure it out, there will be no youth group on Sunday (February 4) because of the Super Bowl. Enjoy the time with family and friends as we celebrate divide ourselves as fans of the Patriots or Eagles! And we’ll see everyone next week!
