Save the Dates: Summer of 2025
Community is a big part of who we are at Deep Water. We serve the community––and we’re in community together as we grow in our faith. Every time a month has 5 Sundays instead of the typical 4, we have a potluck fellowship meal and call it 5th Sunday Fellowship. Save the date, because on Sunday, June 29, we’ll enjoy fellowship and a luau themed potluck after our regular worship gathering.
The Wyoming Peach Festival is on Saturday, August 2 – right outside our front doors! Since we’ll be right outside our building, it is a great opportunity to meet people and invite them to join us on Sundays. And it’s also a great opportunity to bring a friend to check us out in a relaxed, informal way. We developed some peach-themed carnival games for folks as they come by the building during the festival. We will need help hosting the games as we engage members of the community.
Easter Sunday Gathering Times
SUNRISE CELEBRATION ON EASTER MORNING
Sunday, April 20 at 6:00 am. We will start to gather at 6:00 and have a brief message as the sun rises at 6:17 am.
Location: Port Mahon (1097 Port Mahon Rd., Dover, DE 19901 – by the Delaware Bay out on Port Mahon Road)
Early on Sunday morning, people were surprised at the empty tomb of Jesus. Join us early in the morning for a very informal worship gathering as we celebrate the big plot turn in the story of Jesus–spoiler alert: He is Risen! Note: The address is approximate–keep driving until you see some of us gathering near the first pier. Come early and enjoy this beautiful part of Delaware!

Wyoming Easter Egg Hunt 2025

Once again we’re partnering with the town of Wyoming to provide a fun-filled egg hunt for kids at Wyoming Park. Join us to help or bring your friends with kids! Check out the Facebook event here.
We have plenty of eggs from previous years. But we will need individually wrapped candy that will fit in eggs! Feel free to start dropping it off on Sundays or during the week! We need donations soon so the volunteers from the school system can get the eggs stuffed!
