School Supplies for Teens
While it’s hard to believe, the signs for school supplies are showing up in stores already!
Many kids return to school without the supplies they need. As a church, we want to help meet the needs of those students who don’t have the supplies they need to get a good start for the academic year.
Many people focus on the supplies needed for younger kids while middle school kids don’t get enough supplies donated. This year, we’re gathering supplies to send to Central Middle School (where our volunteers painted classrooms).
Needed Supplies:
- Pencils
- Eraser Caps and/or Erasers
- Pens (Blue or Black Ink)
- Loose Leaf Notebook Paper (Preferably college ruled – but wide ruled is just as awesome! ☺)
- Composition Books
- 3 ring binders
- Dividers
- Folders
- Markers
If you want to contribute, simply drop supplies off at our worship gathering on Sunday. Or contact us to let us know when you want to drop off supplies during the week. For more information contact us or see Justin Puchalsky on Sunday!
Men’s Bible Study
At Deep Water, we have several groups for men. One of the Men’s groups normally meets on the fourth Saturday at 8am and is currently working thru the book of James, but this month we will NOT be meeting due to summer schedules and vacation!

Awkward Conversations with Jesus
On Sunday we started our Summer Series, Awkward Conversations with Jesus. Join us each week as we look at some of the things Jesus said that can get a little confusing. For instance, this week we covered the one sin Jesus said wouldn’t be forgiven–blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. If you missed it, remember to check out our podcast, the audio posted online or the Facebook live videos. (The videos are also available after the live stream on the Deep Water Facebook Page.)
If you want to vote on which ones we cover, there is still time to shape the summer series. Here are a few common ones that people struggle to understand…check the ones that you’d like to hear taught–or add one you’d like at the end!

Summer Bible Study for Women
Some of the ladies from Deep Water have started a summer Bible study at Jenn Rundle’s house in Wyoming. It began last Thursday (July 6th) but people are still welcome to join. The study is on The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer, an amazing women’s study author!
