National Night Out – 2023

We’ve been asked to do balloon animals and some face-painting at the National Night Out event with the police (the evening of Tuesday, August 22).

If you can make it and want to help, we will gladly teach you a popular yet simple balloon item that can be learned in 1 minute that night–or some more complex creations. And if you can face paint, we’ll provide the supplies.

Contact us or let us know by signing up on Sunday if you can help!

Work Days

“With a great building comes great responsibility.” OK, so that’s totally a Spiderman rip-off, but maybe you get the point?!

As a community, we are committed to maintaining and beautifying our worship space. We need your help to make it happen. There are a series of work days and evenings coming up as we restore our building. We’ll meet this Saturday to do some painting inside. If we have enough help, we’ll work on a few outside things too.

Here’s a glimpse of what we have planned:

  1. Painting Projects: We will be freshening up the interior walls of our church building in some of the classrooms. There will be a range of painting tasks for all skill levels––and some expert advice if you want to improve your skills.
  2. Outside Work: There are some gutter adjustments that need to be made. Also, our church grounds require some tender loving care. We will be focusing on trimming a few bushes, weeding flowerbeds, and maintaining the landscaping. Don’t worry if you’re not an expert gardener—our experienced team members will guide you.

Whether you can commit to the entire day or can only spare a few hours, your presence and contribution will make a significant difference. Let’s create a place that reflects excellence.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our Church Work Days!

Discipleship and Small Groups

Although it’s only July, we have been doing some things to prep for the Fall. We are actively seeking people who are passionate about building connections, fostering spiritual growth, and supporting fellow believers on their faith journey. We believe that small groups are an integral part of our church’s mission, providing a warm and welcoming environment where individuals can develop deep relationships and grow in their relationship with God.

Small groups meet regularly to GATHER, GROW and ENGAGE—the three things we want each person to do as a follower of Jesus. Small group leaders play a vital role in facilitating these meaningful connections and creating spaces for fellowship, study, and prayer. If you have a heart for nurturing others, a desire to serve, and a willingness to guide discussions, we encourage you to prayerfully consider becoming a small group leader.

To have more groups, we need more leaders. If you’re interested in exploring the opportunity to lead a group or disciple people, talk to me on a Sunday, contact me, or comment below. Training and resources will be provided to equip you for this important ministry. We’ll help guide you through the process of getting started.
