Men’s Bible Study this week (February 4)
We normally meet at the church building on the fourth Saturday of the month for the Men’s Bible Study; but due to scheduling, we are meeting this week (Saturday, February 4) from 8-9:30am and will enjoy coffee, a short teaching video, and some great discussion about how we apply those truths with our families and with others at work. We end promptly at 9:30, but you’re welcome to hang out and talk more if you want.

Should I take Discovery 301 even if I missed 101 and 201?
We’ll be teaching Discovery 301 after the 11am service this week. Anyone is welcome to join us!
Q: I missed Church 101, or Essentials 201, should I take Discovery 301?
A: If you missed Church 101, you can still take Discovery 301 this week (and 401 the following week).
In Discovery 301, we will discover and explore our personality, gifts, and purpose in life and will see how God combines them for the best fit in ministry.
The classes take roughly an hour, so join us this Sunday, February 5. In two weeks we’ll offer Dream Team 401, where we will help you connect your gifts to a place that will help make the vision of Deep Water a reality.

Check-in and Show Some Love this Month!
This February, we’re asking you to check-in with love. We will be partnering with Compassion International to provide days of care for children in need.
Every 6 check-ins provides a day of care for a child in need.
Compassion International is a child-advocacy ministry that pairs compassionate people with those who are suffering from poverty. The ministry releases children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty. The goal is for each child to become a responsible and fulfilled adult. In the program the children will receive: nutritious meals to combat hunger; health assessments to identify medical needs; lessons in reading, writing and math; training for proper hygiene practices; and the opportunity to hear about God’s love for them.
