September 2016 Checkin
This September, we are partnering with Haiti Partners’ to provide meals for students.
Every 2 check-ins at Deep Water helps provide a meal for a student in Haiti.
Haiti Partners’ mission is to help Haitians change Haiti through education. They currently run one flagship school, partner with six more, and believe growing children need quality meals to help them learn and develop.
When you check in on Facebook, adding #meals4students to your posts is a great way to remind your friends and family why you’re checking in!
Pool Party for the Teens
As the Deep Water youth group prepares for the new year, we are having a back to school pool party this Sunday (August 28) from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, with a parents meeting at 5:30pm. Everyone should bring snacks or drinks to share. Families welcome.

Reminder: Men’s Bible Study
Men, are you looking for relationship with men who will help you grow and live out your faith? As school starts for a new year, it’s time for new beginnings. Start the new school year right–join us for the Men’s Bible Study!
We meet at the church building from 8-9:30 and enjoy coffee, a short teaching video and some great discussion about how we apply those truths Monday thru Sunday with families and at work. We end promptly at 9:30; but you’re welcome to hang out and talk more if you want.
Firefly Camping Supply Cleanup
With some volunteers from another church, some of us will be cleaning and sorting some of the camping gear and collected from Firefly as we prepare to sell it. We’d love some more help this Saturday starting at 11am.
