Impact World Training
Last Sunday, we spoke about an evangelistic event coming here to Dover and the surrounding cities though Impact World. Some expressed interest in supporting the event though hospitality, etc. Others are interested in praying with those who come forward at events and serving as local links to help them connect.
To serve in this capacity, Impact World requires training and registration. After completing the training thru Impact World, I (Jeff) can do the training for Deep Water Church. In order to determine a date where people are interested and able to come, we’ll be discussing it in the Deep Water Facebook group. Children’s Health Fund – Check In and Do Good
This March, you can provide impoverished children in the U.S. with vitamins by checking in on Facebook at Deep Water. Every three check-ins will provide a vitamin to a child in need!
We’ve partnered with a high-impact charity called Children’s Health Fund to make this happen. Thanks for being a part of the Deep Water community!

As we announced previously, every time you check in on Facebook, you’ll help someone in need. The cause changes monthly. This month we provided 231 days of education to a child in a developing country through BuildOn. For 25 years, they have mobilized villages in some of the poorest countries on the planet to build more than 800 schools. Every day, over 109,042 children, parents, and grandparents attend buildOn schools in Burkina Faso, Haiti, Malawi, Mali, Nepal, Nicaragua, and Senegal. Support this great cause by joining us throughout the month and checking in on Facebook!

While you may already “like” us on Facebook (and if not, please do here!), some things are better posted and responded to in a group rather than a fan page. For those things, we have a Facebook group meant to be a place for people connected to Deep Water Church to share prayer requests, swap baby/kids clothes, ask about good apartments, places to buy used cars, suggestions for contractors, recommendations for doctors, etc.–all those things people do when they are in community.
While we prefer to do everything openly and without secrets, we have chosen to make the Facebook Group private so people feel comfortable sharing prayer requests, etc. It’s also the place we often talk about upcoming events and places to engage/serve our community. If you want to be a part of the online community, please ask to join!
