There will be a meeting for parents and volunteers on the evening of September 13 at 6:00pm to discuss the youth ministry (teenagers) for the coming year. We’ll be talking about upcoming teaching, events and ministry opportunities. Youth group will resume on September 20th. For more information, see us on Sunday or contact Angie thru the form below.

Check In and Feed Kids
We’ve partnered with Haiti Partners and other churches to feed students in Haiti. While many of us use Facebook to post about our lives and all the things we do, this is our opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life simply by clicking “check in” on our phones while at Deep Water. (The #DoGood & #GiveMeals tags are optional, but help spread the word.)
Education lifts kids out of poverty–but many students don’t have adequate food.
For every three people who “check in” on Facebook, we’ll help a school to help lift local kids out of poverty so they can build a future.
Remember to check in at Deep Water and help feed kids in Haiti!

Podcast
Many people ask us from time to time about whether we record our sermons and podcast them.
Our sermon podcast makes it easy for you to download our weekly sermon audio. Instead of coming to the site and manually downloading MP3 (audio) files, you can set your podcast software to copy new files to your computer automatically as they’re posted each week. You can then listen to the sermon on your computer or mobile device, etc.
So, even if you miss coming on a Sunday you can keep up with what we’re learning.

9am Worship Service starting in a few weeks!
As we previously announced, we’ll be starting a second worship service in the fall to make room. It should make the process of finding a seat a little easier–and from the feedback we’re getting, an earlier service will be welcomed by many people.
This is a great opportunity to let friends know about Deep Water. New cards will arrive soon with our new service times. And if you like to do things on Facebook, please invite people to like our page. We’ll have a few more things going out on social media as we prepare.
Of course, to make the new service time a success, we need help in many areas; but there are a few areas in particular:
TECH (the computer and sound people who make things run smoothly)
GREETING (friendly people who can make people feel welcome)
BAND (those people singing and playing instruments), and
HOSPITALITY (those awesome folks who make the coffee, supply snacks and serve them after worship).
KIDS (those awesome people who invest in our kids during the 11am service)
