Connect with our Community on Facebook

While you may already “like” us on Facebook (and if not, please do here!), some things are better posted and responded to in a group rather than a fan page. For those things, we have a Facebook group meant to be a place for people connected to Deep Water Church to share prayer requests, swap baby/kids clothes, ask about good apartments, places to buy used cars, suggestions for contractors, recommendations for doctors, etc.–all those things people do when they are in community.

While we prefer to do everything openly and without secrets, we have chosen to make the Facebook Group private so people feel comfortable sharing prayer requests, etc. If you want to be a part of the community, please ask to join!

So, click here, connect and make new friends!

Dover’s National Night Out

While not a Deep Water Church event, we always encourage people to get involved in our community:

Dover’s National Night Out is a FREE event open to the public, held on Tuesday August 4th from 6-8pm at the Dover Target. It is an opportunity for communities nationwide to promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention and neighborhood camaraderie. The event allows the community to meet local emergency staff from the Dover Police Department and numerous other agencies in the area and features several free activities for children and adults. This year there will also be a free document shredding event sponsored by WSFS bank, beginning at 4pm! So bring your sensitive documents to be safely destroyed and stick around for a great family event!

To keep up to date, check out the Facebook event here.

Men: Live Second

The Men’s group meets this Saturday (July 11) at 8am.

Meet us this Saturday at Deep Water’s worship space. We’ll make coffee then watch a short video and talk about faith and how it affects the way we live our lives. If you want breakfast, feel free to grab something before your come–it’s BYOB…Bring Your Own Breakfast!

The Foundational Traits of Every Great Couple

From time to time we share an article that hits a point that may be of interest to those who attend Deep Water Church. In Relevant Magazine, Marcus Brotherton writes:

When I was single, I couldn’t imagine a prospective spouse with big old spindly second toes.

Before you laugh, take a good look at your own list of non-negotiables.

Today, after 17 years of marriage, I could care less about half the items that once seemed so important.

If you’re looking for a marriage partner, then consider these foundational traits of great couples:
