Help Nepal

With every tragedy there are people who want to help–and people who want to profit. Knowing the hearts of our people, many of you will choose to give to charities promising relief. One organization with who we have a connection and who does things with integrity so your money ends up helping those in need is Convoy of Hope. To support what they are doing in Nepal, click here.

Interested in learning more about our history and values while meeting some cool people? Want to get involved? Want to become a “member”?

We have four upcoming classes called Deep Water 101, 201, 301 and 401.

Church 101: This class is a basic introduction to Deep Water and will help you understand church membership.

Essentials 201: This class develops the essential habits that every believer needs to become a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

Discovery 301: This class will help you discover your personality, gifts, and purpose in life, and see how God combines them for the best fit in ministry.

Dream Team 401: This class will help you connect your gifts to a place to help make the vision a reality.

Look for the starting date in the near future. And if you want to be notified when the details are announced, contact us or comment below!

Dover Days this Weekend

Dover Days will be celebrated this weekend (May 1-3, 2015). The event is the largest in Kent County and drew more than 50,000 people last year. A blend of traditions and modern attractions, celebrates First State history.

Part of what makes us who we are as a church is the desire to be connected and part of the community outside of the space we meet weekly. As a church we encourage people to be actively involved in the community and take part in the many festivals in and around Dover.

In addition to hanging out and participating in Dover Days events individually, Deep Water also has an information booth on Saturday, May 2 where we give out information about who we are while doing fun games, etc. with kids. To make it a success, we need volunteers on Saturday to do a variety of tasks. And we’d love to have people volunteer to tie balloon animals, run small ‘carnival games’ for kids, etc.
If you want to help, stop by on Saturday and see if we need a hand (or contact us)!
