Pastor Appreciation – Sunday, October 11
October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we want to take time to celebrate Pastor Jeff and Denise! We’ll gather for a special potluck on Sunday, October 11 right after the 10:00 AM worship gathering.
You can sign up to bring a dish on Sunday; and there’s also a box in the sanctuary lobby if you’d like to leave a card or note of appreciation for Pastor Jeff and Denise.

National Night Out – August 25
Join us for National Night Out with the Wyoming Police Department on Tuesday, August 25 from 6–8 PM at Wyoming Park—just a few blocks from our church building! Wyoming celebrates a little later than most towns because of the Peach Festival, and it’s always a fun evening for families and friends. If you have kids, bring them along and invite a neighbor to join you.
We’ll be helping with face painting and balloon animals, and we’d love for you to be part of the fun! We’ll teach you everything you need to know. We’ll show you some simple, crowd-pleasing balloon creations on the spot (and a few advanced ones if you’re feeling adventurous).We’ll have a Clown College after the worship gathering on Sunday, August 23 to teach some simple balloon animals and practice face painting.

5th Sunday Potluck – August 30
On Sunday, August 30, we’ll enjoy a meal and fellowship immediately after our regular worship gathering. There will be a signup sheet available on Sunday. Please bring a dish to share if you are able. Not sure what to bring? Contact us to see what might be needed.
What’s the 5th Sunday thing?
Community is a big part of who we are at Deep Water. We serve the community––and we’re in community together as we grow in our faith. Every time a month has 5 Sundays instead of the typical 4, we have a potluck fellowship meal and call it “5th Sunday Fellowship.”
2026 Peach Festival
One of the ways we love our community is by serving at local events, and the Wyoming Peach Festival is one of our favorite opportunities each year! Throughout the day, we host carnival games for kids and teens, creating a fun, welcoming space where we can connect with our neighbors and share the love of Jesus.
We’d love for you to be part of the team! Join us on Saturday, August 1, anytime between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. You can also come a little earlier to help with setup or stay afterward to help us pack everything away. Whether you can serve for an hour, a half-day, or the entire event, we’d be grateful for your help.
