Multi-Church Lenten Season Night of Praise & Worship
Join other local churches from the IMA (Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance) as we celebrate the start of the Easter Season with a night of Gospel Music and Praise and Worship on February 18th at 7:00pm. With local ministries will be performing that night, including the Delaware State University Gospel choir performing, the style may be a bit different than our Sunday morning worship but a fun way to celebrate Jesus in unity with other churches.
The event will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Fulton St. in Dover. I (Jeff) will be attending and may even wear a suit–something you don’t normally get to see unless you are getting married or pass away! 😉 Meet me there or follow me over from Deep Water’s parking lot if you need help finding it. Alpha: Is there More to Life than This?
On March 5, Deep Water Church will offer the Alpha Course.
The Alpha course is a practical introduction to the Christian faith where the claims of Christ are presented & discussed in a relaxed & non-threatening environment by all those exploring faith, new to faith or interested in learning more about the basics even if they have been a part of the faith for a long time.

The Alpha Course at Deep Water will take place over 10 thought-provoking weekly sessions. Each week will begin with coffee and snacks, followed by a short video talk and then a time to discuss what you’ve just heard. During the discussion, everyone is welcome to contribute their opinions and no question is considered off limits, too simple or too controverisial.

Men: Live Second on February 14 (Next Saturday)
We live in a world where men often strive to be #1–in sports, the workplace, in our hobbies and in everything we do. But there are times where being second is the best choice you can make. Meet us next Saturday at Deep Water’s worship space. We’ll make coffee then watch a short video and talk about faith and how it affects the way we live our lives. If you want breakfast, feel free to grab something before your come–it’s BYOB…Bring Your Own Breakfast!

Youth Group Missions Fundraiser
Deep Teens are planning a missions trip to Niagara Falls, New York June 7-12, 2015. The teens’ will have a variety of service experiences from serving in a soup kitchen to helping with a VBS. For every person who goes, lives will be changed.
The teens would like some help raising funds for the trip. Each participant needs to raise $300 to make this trip possible.
That’s where Deep Water Church comes into the picture. Our church has the unique opportunity to be used by God to support teens serving in missions. We will be having a fundraiser for the next three weeks. To participate in the fundraiser all you have to do is take an envelope with a designated dollar amount. Then return that envelope with the designated amount of money inside. We will have envelopes with amounts of $1, $2, $3…up to $100. We appreciate any and all help we can get. Thanks in advance for your love and support.
If you want to give online, simply designate “youth missions” when you give.
