Guys Kayaking Trip
On May 17, we’ll head out for some adventure on some kayaks (and at least one canoe) to explore the St. Jones and head down toward the bay. It will be a challenging day of adventure with other guys. The cost will be about $22 for a rented kayak–free if you happen to have a kayak.
If you’re interested in going, contact us, RSVP to the event thru our online community or comment below. We may have minor changes in the itinerary, etc., so make sure Jeff knows you’re going!

God Time Quiet Time Exercise for Kids

Looking forward to next week’s? Check out the one for God Time May 11.
What’s the deal with these anyway?
Our goal as a church is provide you with resources to help your children grow spiritually. We’re doing our best to make things simple and easy. Please feel free to give us feedback on this!
- The Parent Cue is meant to be a resource for you to discuss and reinforce the lesson with your kids. The monthly sheet contains discussion questions for each week. They are designed to help you understand what your kids are learning and talk with your kids about spiritual principles in a relaxed way. They make great dinner conversation!
- The God Time is intended to help kids learn to spend some quiet time with God on their own so they learn to grow spiritually and begin to take responsibility for doing spiritual things on their own. (Of course, they can be fun to do as a family and you’re welcome to help them and model it for them as they learn!)

Dover Days 2014 Location
Whether you’re coming by to help or just dropping by to say hi while you’re hanging out, we hope to see you at Dover Days. With all the booths, events and people it can be hard to find us, so check out this rough map. We’ll be approximately where the arrow is pointing.

Miss all the other announcements and wondering what Dover Days is?
Dover Days will be celebrated May 2-4, 2014. The event is the largest in Kent County and drew nearly 50,000 people in 2013. A blend of traditions and modern attractions, the event celebrates First State history.
What does Deep Water have to do with Dover Days?
Part of what makes us who we are as a church is the desire to be connected and part of the community outside of the space we meet weekly. As a church we encourage people to be actively involved in the community and take part in the many festivals in and around Dover.
