Where’s the cue?
Have you found the “Parent Cue” or “God Time” sheets? In order to help kids grow in their faith and learn spiritual disciplines for life, each week we supply a weekly Parent Cue for parents and God Time sheet for kids.
The Parent Cue sheet is meant to be a resource for you to discuss and reinforce the lesson with your kids.
The God Time sheet is intended to help kids learn to spend some quiet time with God on their own. (Of course, you’re welcome to help them and model it for them as they learn!)
We normally post the upcoming week’s material for the lesson that will be taught this Sunday. We also make hardcopies of them, but sometimes they don’t make it home. So, we’re going to try putting them someplace else. Check the table in the foyer on the way into the gathering space this week!
The sheets can be useful for discussions whether your kids attend Kids Church at Deep Water Church or not. Check out a preview of this coming week’s sheets or look at the ones from this week here.
Take a Test Drive in our Kids Ministry
Ever thought about getting more involved at Deep Water? Or thought about helping out in our Kids Ministry?
For many, that may seem like quite a big commitment to make and you may not be sure you would like it–or maybe you’re not sure the kids would like you! Either way, feel free to come take a “test drive.” We’ll have you experience our kids program with one of the current leaders. And if you decide you might want to help out, you can talk to us about joining the team. If you decide it’s not for you, we can help you find something that might be a better fit!

Test Drive our Kids Ministry
No, we’re not asking you to go to a local dealer and test drive a new car! (But feel free to see our community board with some business cards of salespeople if that’s what you were hoping.) What we are looking for is a few people to help out in our Kids Ministry.
