Each week we supply a weekly Parent Cue for parents and God Time sheet for kids.
- The Parent Cue is meant to be a resource for you to discuss and reinforce the lesson with your kids.
- The God Time is intended to help kids learn to spend some quiet time with God on their own. (Of course, you’re welcome to help them and model it for them as they learn!)

Feed the Hungry
If you’re looking for a fun way to serve others outside of your daily life, some people from Deep Water will be helping serve lunch at the Salvation Army in downtown Dover on Saturday, October 5 at 11am.
Those going will help provide/prepare a meal and serve some people in the community in need. In addition to help serving, for October 5, a donation of cornbread and dessert (or fruit) to serve approximately 40 to 50 is needed. Deep Water does this every other month, so if you can’t make it this time, you can always help the next time!
New Community Group for Young Adults (18-20somethings)
We’ve had interest in a community group designed for those who are out of high school. If you’re in the military, starting a career or going to college, this will be a place for you to connect with other in the same life stage as we study the Bible and grow as a community. Join us on Thursday Nights at 8pm, starting on October 10. The group will meet in Dover.

We posted a few weeks ago that someone who attends Deep Water needed household items. I wanted to say thank you for your generosity in supplying their needs. They were very grateful for the dishes, plates, etc. We could still use table and floor lamps and men’s clothing (size 38 pants and XXL shirts, etc.) If you have some extra stuff laying around, consider sharing with someone who needs it!
Contact us or comment below to donate things. You can bring things in this Sunday and we’ll get them where they are needed.
