New Group for Women
A new group for women will be starting this Wednesday at 7:00pm at the worship space of Deep Water. The group will meet every other week to study the Bad Girls of the Bible.

Community Board
To help people get connected with others, we added a cork-board to the wall near couch. Feel free to put up your business cards, help wanted, services offered (like babysitting), looking for a roommate, etc.
Engage Opportunity
Engaging people sometimes means helping those inside Deep Water.
We’re in need of a few things for a person in need who attends Deep Water. We’re looking for some household items including: pots & pans, large plates (don’t need to match), crockpot and lamps. Also, we are in need of some men’s clothing (size 38 pants and XXL shirts, etc.) If you have some extra stuff laying around, consider sharing with someone who needs it. And if you have some stuff that might not fit that description but might want to donate, ask! They might need that too…

Teen Group starts September 24
Calling all 6th-12th graders! Guess what? Deep Water Church is ready to launch our first Youth Group Small Group, Deep Teens. We will be talking about how to understand our faith and live it out, how to overcome the trials of life and how we can all model Christ-likeness in everything we do.
The materials we are using coincides with an app called Bible Studies For Life. This app will allow you to see what we are talking about each week and spend time discovering it before you come to small group. Don’t have a smartphone? No problem! You can access the material in other ways!
So, are you excited to grow in your faith? Please join us on Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm at the home of the Slaters, beginning on Tuesday September 24. Hope to see you there!

Gather/Grow Tip: Start of join a group
Hey, didn’t we already say this? Wasn’t it the “Grow Tip” a few weeks ago?…well, yeah, we did, but it’s a very important tip and in many ways, the words GATHER, GROW and ENGAGE cannot be fully separated. We grow in our faith as we serve others. As we engage people with the gospel, we grow in our faith. And often growing in our faith is spurred on by gathering together.
To help you grow, here’s this week’s “GATHER/GROW Tip“:
Tip: Start or join a group
Being connected with other in community as everyone studies the Bible is one of the best ways to grow. While it’s no substitute for personal disciples like prayer and Bible reading, it is a great way to learn more–and it’s fun to meet new people while growing! Check out the groups here.
Since we’re still new as a church, we may not have a group that fits your schedule. If that’s the case, talk to Jeff about starting a group. You will find it a rewarding experience–and it is probably easier than you think! Oh, and we’ll provide the training to help you get going and move forward.
