5th Sunday Potluck on December 29

Community is a big part of who we are at Deep Water. We serve the community––and we’re in community together as we grow in our faith. Every time a month has 5 Sundays instead of the typical 4, we have a potluck fellowship meal and call it “5th Sunday Fellowship.”

On Sunday, December 29, we’ll enjoy fellowship and a traditional potluck after our regular worship gathering. Please bring a dish to share if you are able. There is a list in the foyer on Sundays if you want to try to coordinate with others.

End of Year Giving

Thank you for considering Deep Water for your charitable giving this season. When you give, you are part of all the things we are doing here in Wyoming, the greater Dover area, and around the world. (That’s how those missionaries who visit and send newsletters get to do what they do!) We truly appreciate the generosity of the people who call Deep Water their home–and the people who support our efforts who don’t attend regularly.

All donations are tax-deductible. In order to receive tax credit for this year, the IRS requires that contributions be received or postmarked by December 31.

We are excited to spread some holiday cheer! In the spirit of Christmas, we are hosting a Toy Giveaway event on Saturday, December 14, to support parents in need. For more information, go here.

We’re still in need of toy donations and volunteers on the day of the event!

We’re accepting donations of any new or gently used toys, games, books, etc. for the Toy Giveaway this year. You can also make a financial donation here and choose the category “Love People” and volunteers will buy gifts for kids.

It is scheduled for Saturday, December 14. We’re working diligently on the details, and plan to share more soon.

We also need volunteers for sorting and setup ahead of time––and on the day of the event. Contact us if you want to help or contribute!
