The excitement of getting gifts at Christmas is something to which most of us can relate. At times it can be difficult for parents to put gifts under the tree. As usual, we’re helping make sure some local kids get presents for Christmas.

You can select a gift to buy for a child this week after the worship gathering on Sunday from the Christmas tree in the Fellowship Hall. All UNWRAPPED gifts should be returned by the end of our worship gathering on Sunday, December 19. We’ll have a wrapping party to prepare the gifts for the kids.

During cold weather, there is an increase in the request for cold weather clothing from the homeless and those in need around the greater Dover area. As you clean out your closets, keep the homeless in mind. We hand out stuff every week as we interact with individuals and families in need–and our partners who serve the homeless always need jeans, hoodies, jackets, socks, gloves, hats, boots (hiking, work, and winter styles), etc.

You can bring items to Deep Water on Sundays or contact us if you want to drop them off during the week.
