Trunk or Treat 2021
We’re gearing up for our Trunk-or-Treat event on Saturday, October 30. It’s one of the ways we try to be good neighbors and connect with the neighborhood around us. We will need volunteers to decorate trunks, decorate/set up tables, and hand out candy to kids.
Please contact us or sign up on Sunday to volunteer your trunk!
And, as usual, if you’re interested in donating candy for those decorating their trunks or tables, bring the candy to Deep Water at any time! But please buy the good stuff–we don’t want to hand out cheap stuff as we represent Jesus!
Marriage Night and Men’s Retreat
Marriage Night on Saturday, October 2 from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm. This night will provide an opportunity to help you grow and flourish in your marriage relationship. Since this is a national event with other churches around the country participating, everyone must register here. Childcare will be available upon request and dinner will be provided.
Men’s Retreat is in Baltimore on October 16. If you’re interested in coming, the cost will be $45 for the day––we’ll carpool up. To register online, click here. Reminder: We’re carpooling up for Saturday only. (You are welcome to attend both days, but will need to provide your own transportation.) Please let Jeff know that you’ve registered in order to coordinate rides. You’re welcome to go Friday night too; but you are responsible for your own accommodations.
Nursery Survey
As a church, we’ve been able to meet together but not have Nursery. If you have nursery age kids, please take a minute to let us know your thoughts on reopening the Nursery during service. (We also welcome your responses if you wish to volunteer.)
The responses we receive will shape our next steps. Because we will need to make decisions based on your specific situation and response, we are asking for your name to complete the survey.

Marriage Night – Fall 2021
Our cars require regular maintenance…our homes require regular maintenance…our bodies require regular maintenance…and so do our marriages!
To keep up with that regular maintenance, we’re planning a Marriage Night on Saturday, October 2 from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm. This night will provide an opportunity to help you grow and flourish in your marriage relationship.
The teaching content will be simulcasted and rich with biblical teaching and practical advice from seasoned Christian speakers. You can expect some laughter and lessons that you can apply immediately to your marriage. This is also a great opportunity to bring another couple!
