Church Membership Meeting this Sunday (August 29)
As previously announced, we will have a church membership meeting on August 29 after the worship gathering at 10:00 am. We will be voting on purchasing the property. While only members can vote, any attendees are welcome to come.
An email reminder of this meeting was sent to all active members. If you did not receive an email and believe you are a member, please contact us.
What makes some people members and some not members? We value everyone’s contributions to the community here at Deep Water and treat everyone with love and respect whether they are a member or not. We offer membership classes and an application to be a member for those who want to solidify their commitment and make decisions on the direction of the church–in other words, to vote on legal matters.

Code Purple Firefly Cleanup for the Community 2021
The Firefly Project is scheduled for Monday, September 27.
What is the Firefly Project?
We work to help the homeless in the greater Dover area and love partnering with other organizations that serve the homeless and others in need. Several years ago, we began to work with the people who put on Firefly to collect many of the items left behind after the festival that can be useful to the homeless and facilitate donations to places like the Food Bank. (Check out an older article on it with some great pictures here.)
