28 Day Bible Reading Challenge Followup

In January, I (Jeff) challenged everyone to read the Bible every day for 28 days to develop the life-changing habit of reading Scripture. However, I didn’t want to answer every question that came up in Matthew and got talked about/posted because I wanted people to continue reading thru the book.
I am going to do a follow-up where we discuss each of these in the Facebook Group for the Challenge. Do you have any questions from Matthew that you would like included? I’m going to compile a list from the group that might be fun or enriching to explore. Feel free to email or Facebook me to make sure your questions are included––especially if you didn’t post them! And if we have any who want to participate in this who aren’t on Facebook, let me know and we’ll figure something out!

5th Sunday Fellowship…becomes the 8th Sunday?

Community is a big part of who we are at Deep Water. We serve the community––and we’re in community together as we grow in our faith. Due to snow and icy conditions, we moved our fifth Sunday of the month potluck dinner.

So, we’re planning to celebrate together on Sunday, February 20. We’ll set up immediately after our regular worship gathering. Please bring a dish to share. And, if you are bringing a crockpot, etc., feel free to come a few minutes early and plug it in upstairs in the Fellowship Hall. There is a list in the foyer on Sundays if you want to try to coordinate with others.

Food Drive

We’re currently running low on canned goods and other nonperishables in our food pantry. If you want to help us feed our neighbors and friends who are struggling, please consider bringing in canned goods on Sundays––or contact us to drop off on other days of the week!

5th Sunday Fellowship

And, if you are bringing a crockpot, etc., feel free to come a few minutes early and plug it in upstairs in the Fellowship Hall.

Not sure what to bring? Some have already signed up with what they’re bringing. You can bring anything you’d like, or contact us to see what might be needed.
