Food Drive
We’re currently running low on canned goods and other nonperishables in our food pantry. If you want to help us feed our neighbors and friends who are struggling, please consider bringing in canned goods on Sundays––or contact us to drop off on other days of the week!

I (Jeff) wanted to take a minute and thank everyone who could come out and help with Trunk-or-Treat. While not everyone could come, many did. And while not all could bring candy, many did. While some could not attend, many did.
I love being part of a church that’s willing to step up and serve the community and kids. Thanks for everything!
Cold Weather Clothing for the Homeless
During cold weather, there is an increase in the request for cold weather clothing from the homeless and those in need around the greater Dover area. As you clean out your closets, keep the homeless in mind. We hand out stuff every week as we interact with individuals and families in need–and our partners who serve the homeless always need jeans, hoodies, jackets, socks, gloves, hats, etc.
You can bring items to Deep Water on Sunday or contact us if you want to drop them off during the week.
Trunk or Treat 2020 this weekend!
Trunk-or-Treat is this Saturday, October 31!
Join us near Deep Water Church this year. The event will be expanded from 5:00-8:00 pm this year (usually 6:00-8:00 pm) to allow kids to be more spaced out while participating. It will be a fun way to bring smiles to kids’ faces!
Invite a friend to come trick or treat and stop by to see us! To keep up-to-date, or help you invite others, here’s a Facebook event link.
If your plans have changed and you can now make it, we still have room for volunteers to decorate trunks, decorate/set up tables, and hand out candy to kids…in a fun but socially distanced way…
And, as usual, if you’re interested in donating candy for those decorating their trunks or tables, bring the candy to Deep Water at any time! But please buy the good stuff–we don’t want to hand out cheap stuff as we represent Jesus!

We’re gearing up for our Trunk-or-Treat event on Saturday, October 31. We will setup in the yard and parking near Deep Water Church this year. The event will be expanded from 5:00-8:00 pm this year (usually 6:00-8:00 pm) to allow kids to be more spaced out while participating. It will be a fun way to bring smiles to kids’ faces! We’ll have a signup sheet this week at the worship gathering. Please contact us, fill out a connection card (in print on Sunday or online) or sign up on Sunday to volunteer your trunk!
