Did you know we have a book club?
In this book club, we’ll dive into John Mark Comer’s The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry, a guide to slowing down and simplifying our lives. Through discussion, we will explore how to break free from the constant busyness of modern life and cultivate a life centered on peace, presence, and purpose, inspired by the way of Jesus.

Pastor Appreciation Potluck
October is Pastor Appreciation Month. Instead of our regular 5th Sunday potluck in September, we plan to celebrate pastor appreciation month with a potluck on Sunday, October 13 after our 10:00 am worship gathering. You can sign up to bring a dish in the Facebook group.
There is a box in the sanctuary lobby if you want to leave a card or note of appreciation for Pastor Jeff and Denise.

Food Pantry – Canned Goods
Did you know we have a food pantry that serves local families all week long? We’re currently running low on nonperishables in our food pantry. If you want to help us feed our neighbors and friends who are struggling, please consider bringing in canned goods on Sundays––or contact us to drop off on other days of the week!
Also, we’re currently scouring Facebook Marketplace for low cost or free appliances. We need another full-size, upright freezer for our food pantry and a refrigerator/freezer combo. Anyone have one laying around that they don’t need?
Men’s Retreat 2024
Some of the men at Deep Water are planning a one day trip to a Men’s Conference in Camp Hill, PA on October 19. If you’re interested in coming, the cost will be $55 for the day before October 1 ($60 after October 1). We’ll carpool up. To register online, click here.
WE’RE ATTENDING AS A GROUP ON SATURDAY ONLY. Please let Jeff know that you’ve registered in order to coordinate rides. You’re welcome to go Friday night too; but you are responsible for your own accommodations.

Wednesday Night Group
a small group meeting weekly to grow together as we study the Bible Engagement curriculum
