Subscribe on YouTube––Online Service for July 12, 2020

We need a few more subscribers for a custom url, so please subscribe to our YouTube channel!

As a reminder, we are meeting in person on Sundays but with some social distancing requirements. Join us in person or online each week!

All persons attending MUST wear masks. (There are exceptions for singers on the stage and the pastor when preaching.) At this time, we aren’t allowed to offer kids church or nursery. We have the ‘cry room’ available for families with small kids who need it though.

The services (including musical worship, preaching, etc.) are broadcast live at 10:00 am on Facebook and posted afterward to our YouTube channel. The service video will remain on Deep Water’s Facebook Video Tab for your convenience.

Since not everyone has Facebook, we are looking to add other options for those who can’t attend. Let us know how we can better get the service out to you!

Online Service for June 28, 2020

As you likely know, Deep Water is open on Sundays with some social distancing in effect while you are here. We will continue to broadcast live at 10:00 am on Facebook. We will also post the worship gathering later in the week to YouTube. and it will remain on Deep Water’s Facebook Video Tab for your convenience. We have been working hard to have a LIVE service in person AND online, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned.

Church Membership

If you haven’t contacted us already, be sure to signup for Deep Water 101, 201, 301 and 401. The classes will be offered a “socially distant” manner.

While it may seem like a funny time to offer membership classes, we wanted to make use of some time many of us have at home to normally offer these classes. And we will be having a membership meeting in the near future to discuss some future plans. (Covid-19 has delayed our meeting.)

What are these classes all about?
These classes will help you can learn, grow and get involved. They are designed to teach more about our history and values–in other words, why we do what we do–while helping you grow in your faith!

  • Church 101: This class is a basic introduction to Deep Water and will help you understand church membership.
  • Essentials 201: This class develops the essential habits that every believer needs to become a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
  • Discovery 301: This class helps you discover your personality, gifts, and purpose in life, and see how God combines them for the best fit in ministry.
  • Dream Team 401: This class helps you connect your gifts to a place to help make the vision a reality.

Please contact us if you are interested!

Occasional tech issues, but moving forward!

Deep Water is now open again on Sundays with some social distancing in effect while you are here. We will continue to broadcast live at 10:00 am. We have been working hard to have a LIVE service in person AND online, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. If it happens again, we will post as soon as possible on YouTube and Facebook––and the service will be available to stream later at your convenience

Discipleship Survey

In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus says to his disciples, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age (NLT).”

With all the things we do, our goal is to make disciples. As we continue to pursue this goal, your answers here will help us make plans.
