Small Group: Dinner and a Bible Study
We want to help you grow in your faith and meet some great people. Starting January 16th, we’ll be studying in the Book of John using material from Tony Evans.
Christmas Eve 2019
Join us for the Christmas season as we celebrate the hope we have at Christmas.
Join us weekly for our worship gathering as we prepare for the Christmas season with messages about the story of Christmas. Childcare and Kids Church provided.
On Christmas Eve, we will have 2 special services.
Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 6:00 pm: Join us for a Christmas Eve candlelight service. We’ll celebrate the coming of Jesus with contemporary versions of Christmas carols, candle lighting and a message of hope. Click here for the Facebook event––and invite a friend!
—and—
Metal by the Manger at 7:30 pm: Join us for an alternative Christmas Eve celebration with traditional songs played in a less than traditional style of music––re-arranged hard rock Christmas songs by our very own Tyler Greene. Click here for the Facebook event––and invite a friend!
While we provide childcare for our regular gatherings on Sunday mornings, our holiday gatherings are designed for the whole family to experience and there is NO CHILDCARE during the evening services on December 24. Kids are encouraged to join us and we have a “Cry Room” available if needed.
Christmas Sweater Sunday 2019
Christmas Sweater Sunday is coming!
Whether it’s the ugliest, gaudiest, bedazzled, sparkleified, snow-covered, pine-needle decorated Christmas sweater or something more sedate, wear it and join us this Sunday, December 22.
Do you, like Pastor Jeff, put the “sweat” in sweater? If so, feel free to wear an ugly Christmas t-shirt––or any other one with a Christmas theme! Not sure what an Ugly Sweater or t-shirt is? Well, then you probably wear one all the time! 😜
We do fun stuff because we are a fun church; so it’s a great Sunday to invite a friend or check us out for the first time! Come to a festive…or “ugliest”…service yet! …and we promise there will be more than just holiday themed sweaters as we prepare for Christmas!

Adopt-A-Family for Christmas 2019
Jesus said “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Matthew 22:38-39, NLT) At Deep Water (and many likeminded churches), we often paraphrase this as “Love God. Love people.” As a church we’re doing Adopt-A-Family for Christmas this year as a way to love people.
You can bring joy to a child’s life simply by buying a small gift. We had a tremendous response this week, but there are still a few tags with desired gifts are available in the Fellowship Hall/Multi-Purpose Room. Please remember to bring your gift back by this Sunday, December 22. And if you can, stay after and help us wrap all the presents.
If you prefer, you can donate and we’ll make sure they get something. Simply make a donation online, by text (84321), on by the app or in person on Sunday and designated it to “Love People“.
End of Year Giving 2019
We appreciate the generosity of the people who call Deep Water their home–and the people who support our efforts who don’t attend regularly. When you give, you are part of all the things we are doing here in Wyoming, Camden, the greater Dover area, and around the world. (We’re doing some pretty cool missions things in Africa and Asia right now–if you haven’t heard, ask about it sometime!) Thanks for being part of all God is doing through us!
Donations can be made the next two Sundays in any of the regular four ways people give. If you’re traveling, you can always give online or mail in donations. All donations are tax deductible. In order to receive tax credit for 2019, the IRS requires that donations must be received or postmarked by December 31.
