Game Night this Saturday Night (February 8)
Who’s got game? To find out, join us on February 8 at 5:00 pm for a Board Game night at Deep Water Church. We’ll have nachos, popcorn, hotdogs and games for all ages. Bring your favorite game!
This is a great chance to meet some new people and have fun with friends. Use the doors to the fellowship hall/MPR.
If – a gathering for Women – February 10, 2020
The Ladies’ IF:Gathering will be on Monday, February 10 @ 6:00 pm. Dinner will be provided and the meeting will last about 2 hrs. We will be celebrating Mardi Gras with a Mardi “Lundi” celebration. (Lundi is French for Monday). Cajun/Creole-inspired dishes, treats and surprises will be offered at our Mardi “Lundi” Table! Come enjoy Shrimp Etouffee, Jambalaya, Dirty Rice, Riced Cauliflower and Crawfish. There will be a King Cake and other treats for dessert.
If you haven’t joined us yet, PLEASE DO, we would love to have you. If you have been with us, COME AGAIN and BRING A FRIEND!

Lego Car Derby
One of the churches with whom we’re connected runs a Lego Car Derby every year and have one scheduled for Saturday, February 29.
How this event works:
1. Registration Fee: $3 per person
2. Car Kit Base (see image below) options:
a. Buy car kit base, cost $8, includes base & wheels or,
b. Use one from last year, no cost.
3. When to build your car, either:
a. Bring it already assembled or,
b. Build it at the event. Most people prefer this option, it’s part of the fun.
4. Legos:
a. Use or bring your own Legos from home or,
b. If you do not have any, we will have some that you may use at no cost.
5. Lego Car specification:
a. Max. length 7 inches.
b. Max. width 3 inches.
c. Max. weight 6.5 ounces.

Study the Book of John
Starting tonight (January 16th), we’ll be studying in the Book of John using material from Tony Evans. (Check out the trailer above.) It’s a great opportunity to grow in your faith and connect with people at Deep Water.
