Peach Festival
The Wyoming Peach Festival is on Saturday, August 2 – right outside our front doors! Since we’ll be right outside our building, it is a great opportunity to meet people and invite them to join us on Sundays. And it’s also a great opportunity to bring a friend to check us out in a relaxed, informal way. We developed some peach-themed carnival games for folks as they come by the building during the festival. We will need help hosting the games as we engage members of the community.
T-Shirts
While the official Deep Water Church T-shirt is not required to help with events, it is a cool way to show you’re connected with our faith community as you volunteer at events and on Sundays. And, if you are friendly and like meeting people, it’s a cool thing to wear while out in public interacting with people. Wear it to the gym or around town to let people know who we are…if you’re cranky, dislike people and tip poorly, we recommend NOT wearing this t-shirt! We’re moving to an online source for shirts so they can be ordered at any time. Just go here!
Men’s Conference
Some of the men are planning a one day trip to a Men’s Conference in Maryland on October 18. We will carpool. Save the date if you’re interested.
