Youth Events for the Summer
We posted a schedule of the youth events for teenagers in the Facebook Group this week.
We have a trip coming up to connect with a church in Newark for a fun night with water games. And we have the Wednesday afternoon teen discipleship group starting soon!

Summer Service Project Idea
One great way to teach your kids to serve in their community is to serve alongside them doing community service. During the summer, we still serve food to those in need on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Consider volunteering to heat the food with your kids–even if you can’t come serve it with us. (Those under 18 can’t serve it on Wednesday and Fridays, but can come with us on Sundays.) It’s a great way to get them involved–and only takes about an hour!

Farmers Market Downtown
Remember to check out the Farmers Market on the green space near Deep Water Church’s worship space. (See how I avoided using the word ‘church’ to describe our building! ;-)) It started last Wednesday (June 15).
Among other things, there is a free meal for kids 18 and under!
Community Events
Thanks for being part of a great community of people! We’re planning some events that won’t get announced in detail here. For instance, we have a potluck/BBQ that’s going to happen this Sunday afternoon. We’d love you to join us, so check out the Facebook group for more details.
